If you really need to challenge yourself there's always the famed MTB tracks on Mt Coot-tha.
And, at the end of your cycling day, you can retire tired but happy to your luxurious retreat in Fig Tree Pocket.

Fun Cycling Trips in Brisbane - Our Recommendations

1. Just a Bike:

Just want to ride into the city on a dedicated cycle way and cruise along the Brisbane River? Why not stop for lunch at the beautiful Brisbane City Botanic Gardens before returning to Pablos Retreat? An easy and enjoyable day out for any rider.

2. Felons Pizza and Beer Ride (Story Bridge):

Need a beer and pizza before you ride home? Of course, you do! Sit outside on the river boardwalk at one of Brisbane's best on-the-river eateries; and admire the intricate steel grid work of the iconic Story Bridge.

Distance: 14.8 Kms; 29.6 return

Queensland Cultural Centre Queensland’s arts portfolio occupies a prime location at Brisbane’s South Bank, adjacent to the city’s CBD. It is home to the State’s leading arts and cultural institutions:

Together with the South Bank Parklands, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and neighbouring institutions such as the Queensland Conservatorium, the Queensland Cultural Centre forms a concentration of cultural, educational, retail and recreational facilities.

Getting there: Ride into Brisbane and then take the pedestrian / cycleway across the river on the Go-Between Bridge. Follow the signs to the cultural centre.

5. Mt Coot-tha Tour and MTB Package (Weekends Only: 1 or 2 Days)

Tackle the famous Mt Coot-tha MTB tracks with a former Queensland MTB champion.

Patrick Willis grew up in western Brisbane and was the Under-17 All Queensland MTB champion. Patrick knows every trail, rock and log on Mt Coo-tha.
