Originally built as a boat club in the 1930s, the Brisbane Jazz Club sits next to parkland in Annie Street, Kangaroo Point, with a dazzling backdrop of lights from the high rise CBD buildings across the Brisbane River. This club is home to Brisbane’s jazz-loving community and has many reasons to celebrate its decades of live jazz. Regular national and international acts appear at the Club. Our own international home-grown trumpet star James Morrison has played here and given the Club the "thumbs up". That's a mighty endorsement from one of Australia's jazz greats. Check out the website for more information about upcoming gigs.
